Zoo and Our Weekend

We had a blast this weekend for Chris' birthday. Chris is now an old man 27! I love that he'll always be older than me so I can RUB it in! On Saturday we went to Bear River and dropped the kids off at Grandma Burt's. It was supposed to be a longer visit but we got started late.

Then we went to Maddox for a birthday lunch. We had to split our meals half and half so we could try a little more! LOVE that place and those heavenly rolls!
We picked the boys up and went to the zoo. We were able to get a really good group there. Even met up with Ben and Sasha! We had a fabulous time. Click on our family to see more!
We went to Tooele to spend some time with Chris' family. After church we had roast, pototoes, carrots, gravy, jello and birthday cake and ice cream. The cake had 27 for Chris and 7 for Kara, our niece, whose birthday is the 27th. Our sister Melanie's birthday is tomorrow the 25th! We love May birthdays!
Devan wasn't feeling well and finished his second antibiotic Sunday morning. He was having trouble breathing and we were nervous. So Monday we watched him really close, borrowed Travis and Trish's humidifier, and had him calm down and watch some cartoons. I ordered Papa Murphy's and Dad Rawlings took me to pick it up. We cooked four pizzas at three houses! Devan seemed to be a little better plus we wanted him and the family to have some more fun so we went SWIMMING!
This is Chris and Devan on the slide. Nathan loved to splash and Devan had so much fun. He kept saying "again". I could tell he was cold and was starting to breathe hard again so the boys and I got out. We went with Trish and Jayden into the changing rooms and let Devan sit and calm down while the babies nursed! Then we got changed and watched the rest swim.

We stayed until Tuesday afternoon and we called and got another appointment for Devan with Dr. Clarke at five so we got packed up and went home (after stopping for Happy Hour 1/2 price drinks at Sonic-YUM). The doctor said it was just the rest of the virus leaving but did give us and inhaler and attachment to use if needed. We only used it once that day. Devan seems so much better!
